    This Home’s Seller Says

“Milan is a nice quiet town that’s great for raising kids! I grew up here and came back when I started my family. The town is very family oriented and you can walk or bike to anywhere you need to go. The school system (Milan Area Schools) is very good. My son graduated from U of Detroit Mercy and my daughter just graduated from U of M (Go Blue!). My house is on a main road, but with the back yard being almost a half acre, you’d never know it. We spent all of our time in the back. Whether gardening, playing basketball, watching sporting events in the man cave, etc., it’s the best backyard EVER~.”

We are located just minutes from downtown Milan and can walk to the park. Never miss a parade or a sporting event. We were drawn back to Milan because of the town and it’s people. “They are all friendly and helpful.”

One of our favorite things about our home is the garage: “Whether you want a garage for working on cars, a really cool man cave or just to park your car, the carriage house/garage is great. Comes with a gas heater that heats the garage in no time. We spent a lot of our winters in there…” Another highlight is: ” THE BACK YARD!  We really wanted to live in the country to get a nice piece of property to have animals and let the kids play in the yard, and with this house we got the best of both worlds. The house has tons of character…the woodwork is really nice. We added a new kitchen with a master bedroom, which includes an en suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The kitchen is any cooks dream kitchen. I’m really missing that kitchen. It’s well designed so that more than one cook can be in there.”

There are plenty of places to eat our, JR’s is a good place, and Milan has the best Chinese food! I like to shop at Kroger and Milan City Market.

Our average electric cost is $150 per month, and our gas averages $130 per month.
